Collins starts ahead of Young for Titans

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young watches from the sidelines as his team plays the Washington Redskins in the first quarter of an NFL pre-season football game in Nashville, Tenn., in this Aug. 11, 2007, file photo. Young rested his strained right quadriceps by watching practice Wednesday, leaving the work to backup Kerry Collins.

Kerry Collins was to start at quarterback for the Titans against the Texans on Sunday, but Vince Young was listed as active and could play. Young strained his right quadriceps in last week’s 13-10 loss at Tampa Bay when he scrambled for a 2-yard gain and was pushed out of bounds by defensive tackle Jovan Haye in the third quarter.
