Clay Buchholz isn’t the only September callup helping out the Boston Red Sox in the pennant race. Jacoby Ellsbury homered, tripled and singled on Tuesday night to help Josh Beckett become the majors’ first 17-game winner and lead the Red Sox to a 5-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. The victory was Boston’s fourth straight, a streak that began with Buchholz’s no-hitter.
