Brad Penny’s pitching and some rally crunching double plays by his defense made up for some head-shaking baserunning and helped the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs. Penny earned his 15th victory with seven steady innings, Matt Kemp had four hits and the Dodgers defense turned five double plays Tuesday night to beat Chicago 6-2 and spoil Steve Trachsel’s return to the Cubs.
