The Flames let their feet slip off the gas for a moment Sunday. Sean Monahan had a goal and an assist and Calgary beat the New York Islanders 5-2 on Sunday for its seventh straight victory. The Flames left themselves plenty of room for error by jumping to a 4-0 lead in the first period behind goals from Michael Frolik, TJ Brodie, Micheal Ferland and Monahan.
