
Carrie Underwood is forever proud of Mike Fisher, but took extra care to show her support for her husband in a post after he announced his plans to retire from the NHL on Thursday (Aug. 3). “Captain @mfisher1212 I sure am going to miss watching you play and cheering you on with the rest of Smashville, but I so look forward to seeing what God has in store for you in this next chapter of your life,� Underwood writes in a heartfelt post directed at her husband, alongside a photo of him in his Predators jersey, celebrating with his fellow players during a victorious game. The couple have one child, 2-year-old Isaiah, and the star admits they’re excited to have Fisher at home with them more often. “Isaiah and I love you so much and are so excited to be able to have you home a lot more,� she adds.
