The Nashville Predators know they need to start making a move up the Western Conference standings. Filip Forsberg scored with 2:24 left in the second period, and the Predators beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 on Thursday night after Bruins’ All-Star goalie Tuukka Rask was knocked out of the game. ”It was a test for us, and we showed up and we played our hearts out and got two points and that’s what we came here to do,” Forsberg said.

The Anaheim Ducks closed in on a division title that doesn’t really interest them with a blowout victory that meant little because the Chicago Blackhawks rested several star players. Corey Perry scored a power-play goal, John Gibson made 37 saves in his 12th career shutout and the Ducks clinched home-ice advantage in the first round with a 4-0 victory Thursday night.
