McKee gets Blues by slumping Wild

St. Louis Blues' Jamal Mayers, right, celebrates as Jay McKee scores the go ahead goal on Minnesota Wild goalie Josh Harding in third period of a NHL hockey game Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, in St. Paul, Minn. The Blues won 3-2.

Not even the return of two offensive stars from injuries could help the Minnesota Wild end their longest winless streak in more than three years. Jay McKee scored the game-winner in the third period — his first goal in 34 games — and the St. Louis Blues beat the Wild 3-2 on Thursday night. Keith Tkachuk and Martin Rucinsky scored for the Blues, who ended a six-game losing streak in Minnesota.
