Kotalik, Sabres rally past Lefs in OT

Buffalo Sabres' Ales Kotalik, center, of Czech Republic celebrates his game winning overtime goal with teammates as Toronto Maple Leafs' Bryan McCabe (24) and Hal Gill (25) skate off the ice after the NHL hockey game at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, N.Y., Monday, Oct. 15, 2007. The Sabres won 5-4.

Down by two goals heading into the third period, the Buffalo Sabres had the Toronto Maple Leafs right where they wanted them. Ales Kotalik’s power-play goal with 3.7 seconds left in overtime gave the Sabres a 5-4 come-from-behind win over Toronto on Monday night. It’s the first time this season the Sabres have erased a two-goal deficit.
