New York Rangers' Jaromir Jagr, left, of the Czech Republic, and Boston Bruins' Glen Metropolit cross sticks as they vie for the puck during the second period of an NHL hockey game Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, in Boston. The Bruins won 1-0 in a shootout.

Kessel scored the lone goal in a shootout to give the Bruins a 1-0 victory over the New York Rangers on Saturday. After the first five shooters failed in the tiebreaker, Kessel skated in on Henrik Lundqvist and fired a wrist shot under the crossbar.
