The Carolina Hurricanes had a bad night on Friday. On Saturday, they made sure the New York Islanders felt their pain. Rod Brind’Amour notched his third career hat trick, Ray Whitney and Justin Williams each scored twice and the Carolina Hurricanes scored six times on their first 13 shots to rout the New York Islanders 8-3 on Saturday night.
