The Colorado Avalanche spent the first three games of their series against Arizona trying to solve a hot goalie. Nathan MacKinnon had two goals and two assists, Nazem Kadri also scored twice and the Avalanche routed the Coyotes 7-1 on Wednesday to close out the first-round playoff series in five games. ”Our guys really dug in and just a great focus on what we needed to do,” Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said.
