Why the Raiders should cut Sebastian Janikowski

Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski is entering his 18th season in the NFL, but if the Raiders are truly committed to a return to greatness, they will part ways with the aging kicker before he can put another one through the uprights. As difficult as it may be for Raiders fans to hear, Janikowski is not the kicker he once was. His role has diminished, thanks in part to a high-powered offense more adept at finding the end zone, and his stats have declined considerably.
