Sources: NFL pushes for ruling on whether Colin Kaepernick’s collusion case should continue

New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley has opted out of playing this season because of family health concerns, two people familiar with the decision told Sports Betting News. The 28-year-old Mosley was entering his second season with New York after signing as a free agent in 2019 following five years in Baltimore. The people spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Saturday because the team hadn’t announced Mosley’s decision.

It looks like the Giants won’t be the only team down a running back on Thursday night. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Patriots running back Rex Burkhead is not expected to play. Burkhead was listed as questionable due to the foot injury that kept him out of last weekend’s win over Washington
