Coaches will be allowed to return to NFL team facilities beginning Friday as the league continues preparation for training camps and its season. Commissioner Roger Goodell told the 32 clubs on Thursday that coaching staffs may from team complexes starting Friday. Previously, only up to 75 people per day could be at the facilities, with coaches and healthy players barred.
Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, whose leaping tackle at the 1-yard line last week helped beat the Atlanta Falcons, practiced Friday for the first time this week. Haynesworth, bothered this week by an ankle injury, leapfrogged a Falcons offensive lineman to grab quarterback Byron Leftwich and force an 8-yard loss in the final minutes of a 20-13 victory.
