Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter says his surgically repaired right knee feels better every day, and he’s expected to play in the season opener Sunday at Washington. Porter underwent arthroscopic surgery Aug. 7 and missed much of training camp. He returned to practice on a limited basis last week and has gradually increased his workload.
