Many predicted the Carolina Panthers would have a quarterback controversy this season. Nobody thought it would involve 43-year-old Vinny Testaverde. When asked Tuesday who would start Carolina’s next game, coach John Fox signaled it was an open competition between David Carr and Testaverde. “I think right now we’re going to evaluate it as we go,” Fox said.
