Foster had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder that had teams throughout the league concerned about his long-term prognosis as he begins his NFL career. The 49ers are not one of those teams, while others throughout the league were worried a second surgery would be required that may jeopardize his rookie season, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Despite surgery on his right rotator cuff, Foster’s right shoulder was worrisome enough that some teams did not consider drafting him.
