Judge: Reid’s son positive for drugs

Britt Reid, 22, right, is swarmed by the media as he is escorted from the Montgomery County district court house in Conshohocken, Pa., Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007. Britt Reid, a son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence and drug violations while still awaiting sentencing for a separate road-rage incident earlier this year.

A son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid failed a drug test while awaiting sentencing on drug charges. Garrett Reid tested positive for a small amount of morphine and will be allowed only limited leave from his family’s home in Villanova until his sentencing, a Montgomery County judge ruled. He is not permitted to drive, a prosecutor said.
