Arthur Smith has signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons to be their next coach, the team announced Saturday. Neither Smith nor any other team official will be made available to reporters until next week. ”Throughout our research and interview process, Arthur stood out amongst a very deep and very talented candidate pool with an outstanding plan for our organization to return to the level of competition our fans deserve and expect,” Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement.
