San Diego coach Smith placed on leave after arrest (Sports Betting News)

The University of San Diego placed basketball coach Lamont Smith on indefinite administrative leave Monday, a day after he was arrested in Oakland on suspicion of domestic violence. Smith was arrested at Oakland International Airport as the team was preparing to fly back to San Diego after a victory at the University of San Francisco on Saturday night. Smith was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, assault with force likely to commit great bodily injury and false imprisonment.
