From Jets coach Todd Bowles to Broncos coach Vance Joseph to Buccaneers coach Dirk Koetter to Cardinals coach Steve Wilks, the sense that they’ll each be fired has become baked in to the NFL news cake. The only statement any of these four teams has issued came from the Jets, not to renew vows with Bowles but to shoot down (or at least try to) a report that they’ll pursue Jim Harbaugh. “Todd Bowles is our coach,� the statement declared, stating the obvious.
After playing under Mike Young for two seasons at Wofford, power forward Keve Aluma has decided to follow his coach to Virginia Tech, too. The 6-foot-9 Aluma played in 68 games across two seasons for the Terriers. As a sophomore in the 2018-19 season, Aluma played in all 35 games and made 34 starts.
