
On Sunday morning, Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano died unexpectedly at age 56. The Vikings announced the news on Sunday afternoon, and shortly after, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported that over the weekend, Sparano had been dealing with chest pains. He even went to the hospital on Thursday until Friday for tests and was released. Sparano was found unconscious in his kitchen by his wife, Jeannette, prior to leaving for church. She tried to revive him using CPR. It’s a very sad day for those who knew Sparano, along with the football community as a whole. He has been in the NFL as a coach since 1999 for the Browns, Redskins, Jaguars, Cowboys, Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, 49ers
