
Raiders punter Marquette King is one of the best players at his position in the NFL, making the team’s decision to release him Friday somewhat perplexing to more than a few fans. Over the course of his six-year career with Oakland, the 29-year-old punter averaged 46.8 yards per punt and yearly improved his precision kicking to pin opponents deep.
