Lonzo Ball’s lone season in college ended in a Sweet 16 loss against Kentucky. He averaged 14.6 points and 7 assists per game with UCLA, earning All-American honors. By any measure, his time in college was a success. Yet, Ball says he would have skipped his year at UCLA if his father’s JBA had existed at the time. In an interview after a JBA tryout, Ball said he would have played in the JBA over UCLA because he was already an NBA lock. Ball said: “Personally, for sure.
