LaMelo Ball’s time at Chino Hills High School (Calif.) had its moments of success, but much of that was overshadowed by LaVar Ball’s chaotic influence at the school. When LaVar pulled LaMelo out of high school over a strategic disagreement with new head coach Dennis Latimore (he wouldn’t let LaMelo take 50 shots a game), Chino Hills was left without its star player. The Huskies had a rough go early in the season, and LaMelo mocked the team’s struggles in a November tweet, calling them the worst. The Huskies would have the last laugh, though.
