
Jorge Lorenzo has revealed he feels “safer” on Honda’s MotoGP bike because it is more “compact” than the Ducati he has been riding. Lorenzo tested the Honda RC213V for the first time in post-season testing last year, after Ducati gave permission for him to ride the bike while under his existing contract with the Italian manufacturer. In Lorenzo’s first interview wearing the colours of his new Honda team, the Spaniard said he felt the smaller size of his new bike compared to the Ducati was a better match for his style.
