Freshmen class for UConn men doesn’t lack confidence

STORRS, Conn. (AP) Incoming freshman guard Jordan Hawkins arrived at UConn’s basketball training center in May, looked up at the banners of all the players that have gone from Storrs to the NBA and one thought ran through his mind. UConn’s highly touted recruiting class of Hawkins, fellow guard Rahsool Diggins and forward Samson Johnson met with reporters for the first time as Huskies on Wednesday, exuding a brash confidence and embracing expectations.
