Chris Paul put his fingers in Rajon Rondo’s face Saturday night, sparking a brawl that’s sure to draw suspensions for both point guards. The Rockets claim Rondo spit in Paul’s face, but the Lakers are backing their player, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported, after looking at the videotape.
East Tennessee has added guard Jalen Johnson as a graduate transfer from Tennessee to a team that won the Southern Conference Tournament title and went 30-4 this season. Coach Steve Forbes announced the signing Thursday, along with the addition of 6-foot-8 forward Silas Adheke from Northern Kentucky. The 6-foot-6 Johnson graduated from Tennessee in December and decided to transfer after playing in 70 games with the Volunteers, including two NCAA Tournament berths.
