The Los Angeles Clippers and Tyronn Lue could discuss a contract extension, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Lue’s future with the Clippers has had some level of uncertainty.
If Lue becomes available, the Phoenix Suns would have him as their No. 1 target now that they’ve parted ways with Monty Williams.
Lue was elevated from assistant coach to the head coaching position with the Clippers after the 19-20 season when they parted ways with Doc Rivers. Lue previously won a championship in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
