Tyler Herro Suffers Grade 2 Ankle Sprain, Will Be Re-Evaluated In 2 Weeks

Tyler Herro was diagnosed with a Grade 2 ankle sprain, the Miami Heat announced on Thursday.

Herro, who will be in a walking boot for 10 days, will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

“You know, it’s unfortunate, but I’m just going to continue to work hard. I’ve been through this injury stuff before. I’m just going to keep working,” said Herro after suffering the injury on Wednesday night.

Herro is averaging 25.3 points per game on the season.

The Washington Wizards added scoring punch to their bench on the eve of the trade deadline, acquiring swingman Bojan Bogdanovic from the Brooklyn Nets. Washington also got forward Chris McCullough in the deal and sent a lottery-protected 2017 first-round pick, Marcus Thornton and Andrew Nicholson to Brooklyn. The Wizards announced the trade Wednesday night.
