Suns Expect Kevin Durant To Sign Two-Year, $120M Extension Next Offseason

Mat Ishbia said that he expects Kevin Durant to sign an extension with the Phoenix Suns next offseason and finish his career with the team.

“[Durant] loves being in Phoenix, we love having him. He’s off to an amazing start this season — one of the MVP leaders — and we’re off to a very good start.

“We expect Kevin to sign an extension, be with us for the long term. We hope he finishes his career here in Phoenix,” said Ishbia.

Durant will be eligible for a two-year, $120 million extension this coming offseason.

Durant’s current contract runs through the 2025-26 season.

Durant has been out due to a calf strain since November 8.
