Dennis Schroder scored 18 points, Dwight Howard had 13 points and 12 rebounds and the Atlanta Hawks pulled away late in a 111-92 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night for their fourth straight win. Kent Bazemore scored 17 points, and Paul Millsap had a big second half to finish with 16 points. Bazemore and Millsap knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter to close the door on Orlando, which pulled within four points of the lead during the final period.

Dejounte Murray suffered a season-ending Achilles tear on Friday night against the Boston Celtics, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

Murray suffered the injury when chasing his own miss after driving to the lane.

The injury is on Murray’s right leg.

“Extremely difficult, when you see a guy that means so much to our team and puts the work in go down like that,” said Willie Green after the game.

Murray was averaging 17.9 points and 7.6 assists on the season.

Murray, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram did not share the court once this season.
