Sixers Trade Danuel House, 2nd Rounder To Pistons To Create Flexibility For Buyouts

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to trade Danuel House and a 2024 second round pick via the New York Knicks to the Detroit Pistons.

With the transaction, the Sixers create a salary cap cushion to sign potential buyout players. House was on an expiring $4.3 million contract putting the Sixers $2.7 million below the luxury tax.

The Sixers have been linked with Kyle Lowry should he agree to a buyout with the Charlotte Hornets.
