Silver says he does not expect any NBA decisions until May

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver does not expect any decisions to be made until at least May about the possible resumption of the 2019-20 season, saying the coronavirus pandemic simply makes it too difficult to project what will happen next. Silver spoke on Monday on the NBA’s Twitter account as part of the league’s new NBATogether initiative, in a conversation hosted by Turner Sports’ Ernie Johnson. “Essentially, what I’ve told my folks over the last week is that we just should just accept that, at least for the month of April, we won’t be in a position to make any decisions,” Silver said.

Cam Thomas Focused On Improving All-Around GameCam Thomas Focused On Improving All-Around Game

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas know his team is in transition. For Thomas, that means focusing on his own improvement, while hoping that will lead the Nets to wins.

When asked what he can improve upon to get to the next level, Thomas said he has room to go grow everywhere.

“Just doing everything-doing it consistently. I had the biggest jump in points from my second year to my third year,” Thomas said. “I was at 22.5 [points per game], so I think trying to get into that 25 ppg range, upping the playmaking and just trying to keep improving my all-around game. And hopefully, it leads to wins.”

As for specifics with his own offense, Thomas is focused on improving his shot.

“Last summer, I tried to put more emphasis on catch-and-shoot shooting, and I think I was way up in the League percentage-wise on catch-and-shoot [this past season],” Thomas said. “So, just continue to work on that and fine-tuning the skills I had coming into the League, like my off-the-dribble stuff and finishing around the basket, [while] still improving on catch-and-shoot, trying to have the best percentage in the League.”
