Randolph finally settling in with Knicks

New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas, center, works with players Zach Randolph, right, and Mardy Collins during basketball practice at training camp on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.

Zach Randolph was surprised to hear the draft-night news that he was being traded to the New York Knicks from Portland, where he had spent his entire six-year NBA career. Now the forward is settling into his first training camp with New York and loving every minute. His only concern is his grandmother, who is seriously ill with kidney disease in Indiana.
