Quin Snyder has lobbied for the Atlanta Hawks to keep Dejounte Murray past the trade deadline, sources tell Marc Stein.
Murray has been one of the highest profile trade candidates this season, but an obvious trade partner for the Hawks hasn’t materialize.
Murray is on a good contract and has been playing better of late amid trade rumors. Murray and the Hawks signed a four-year, $114 million extension this past offseason.
