Quin Snyder and the Atlanta Hawks are making progress on a contract for him to become their next head coach with a deal possible in the coming days.
Snyder has become the full focus of Atlanta’s coaching search. The two sides are deep in conversations on a vision for what their future together will look like.
Landry Fields, Kyle Korver and Tony Ressler have been in talks with Snyder.
Snyder stepped down as head coach of the Utah Jazz after the 21-22 season.
The Hawks fired Nate McMillan during the All-Star break.
