Game 1 of the series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors averaged 7.36 million viewers on TNT.

The number represents the largest audience on cable for a first or second round series in 11 years and is the fifth largest viewership for this year’s playoffs.

Game 2 of the Heat-Knicks series on Tuesday averaged 4.71 million viewers.

All five second round games saw a double-digit increase in viewership as compared to last year.
