Pascal Siakam, Raptors Haven’t Discussed Extension

The Toronto Raptors and Pascal Siakam have had no substantive discussions on a contract extension, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Raptors can currently offer Siakam up to a four-year, $192 million extension.

Sources also tell Charania that Siakam has never requested a trade.

The Atlanta Hawks have been the strongest trade suitor for Siakam. Siakam’s trade market has been somewhat soft due to his position that he has no plans to extend with any team that trades for him.

The Hawks offered a package built around De’Andre Hunter, AJ Griffin and draft picks to the Raptors for Siakam. Talks between the two teams are fully paused.
