Nikola Jokic Has First 30/20/20 Game In NBA History

Nikola Jokic made NBA history in the Denver Nuggets overtime victory over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. Jokic put up the first 30/20/20 game in NBA history, as he finished with 31 points, 21 rebounds and 22 assists.

Jokic initially logged a triple-double with 10:22 left to play in the third quarter. From that point forward, the Nuggets center logged another triple-double over the final portion of the third quarter, the fourth quarter and overtime.

Jokic is averaging a triple-double for the season, with 28.9 points, 12.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists.

With LeBron James missing from Quicken Loans Arena, the Cleveland Cavaliers were reminded again just how tough life can be without their star. James stayed home with strep throat while Dwyane Wade scored 20 points and Jimmy Butler recorded a triple-double, leading the Chicago Bulls to a 117-99 victory Saturday night. Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue said he wasn’t sure how long the Cavaliers would be without the four-time MVP.
