Nick Nurse has an uncertain future as head coach of the Toronto Raptors as he will be entering the final season of his current contract this offseason.
Nurse previously signed a contract extension worth $8 million per season that expires after 23-24.
Head coaches typically avoid entering the final year of their contract as it creates a lame duck situation.
Shams Charania of The Athletic also reports that some of the frustration with Toronto’s play has been directed at Nurse.
