New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is closing in on making his season debut. Robinson should return within the next week to the Knicks lineup.

Robinson has competed in several full scrimmages recently. The Knicks have one more scrimmage set up for Robinson early this week, then the center is hoping to be cleared following that.

New York has been without Robinson since Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers. Robinson had surgery on his ankle and has been working back since then. The Knicks are hoping he can provide the team with an additional frontcourt option backing up and playing next to Karl-Anthony Towns.
