Mavs Considering Spencer Dinwiddie, Dennis Smith Jr, Talen Horton-Tucker, Markieff Morris

The Dallas Mavericks currently have one open roster spot to fill on their regular season roster. The Mavs are considering a trio of veteran guards, as well as re-signing a veteran big man to fill out their squad.

Spencer Dinwiddie is high on the Mavericks list of potential signees. Dinwiddie considered returning to Dallas following being bought out by the Toronto Raptors after being acquired at last season’s trade deadline. Dinwiddie ultimately chose to finish the year with his hometown Los Angeles Lakers, but could return to the Mavs for next season.

Dallas is also considering signing former Mavericks first-round pick Dennis Smith Jr., as well as veteran combo guard Talen Horton-Tucker. Markieff Morris also remains in the Mavs roster plans, as he fills a vital locker room presence for the team.
