Luka Doncic Has ‘Strongly Indicated’ Desire For Mavericks To Upgrade Roster By Deadline

Luka Doncic has “strongly indicated” he would like the Dallas Mavericks to upgrade their roster via trade before the February 9th deadline, sources tell Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Doncic has not shown a desire to be involved in personnel matters in the past.

Doncic can become a free agent in 2026 and MacMahon has previously stated that the Mavericks have a two-year window to prove they can build a contender around him.
