Denver Nuggets guard Anthony Carter will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a broken bone in his right hand. Carter will have screws inserted into his third metacarpal, which he fractured during practice Saturday morning. A return timeline is expected after the surgery. Carter, 6-foot-2, averaged three points, 5.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in two games for the Nuggets last season.
