In an interview with Malika Andrews of ESPN, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic admitted he let his team down by fouling out in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Doncic fouled out with 4:12 remaining in the game, with Dallas trailing the Boston Celtics by three points. Boston went on to win the game to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Doncic said after the game he told his teammates “My bad. You can’t do that, especially in the NBA Finals.”

Doncic also said he’ll likely get another painkilling shot before Game 4. He’s been dealing with a series of injuries throughout the Mavs playoff run.
