LeBron James has broken the NBA’s career scoring record, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 points.

James broke Abdul-Jabbar’s 39-year record with 10.9 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 133-130 loss on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena. James reached Abdul-Jabbar in his 20th season, which was also the total number of seasons the big man played in the NBA.
