Joel Embiid has been diagnosed with a displaced flap in the meniscus of his left knee, sources told Shams Charania and Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
Embiid and the Sixers are considering his options, including rest and rehab or undergoing surgery.
A displaced flap is considered as a type of tear to the meniscus.
Embiid is averaging 35.3 points and 11.3 rebounds on the season.
