Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics have agreed to a five-year, $315 million supermax extension with a player option in Year 5. The deal is the largest in NBA history, eclipsing Jaylen Brown’s five-year, 295 million supermax extension signed during the 2023 offseason.

Tatum has been a First Team All-NBA Selection in each of the past three seasons.

Tatum, who is represented by Rishi Daulat and Jeffrey Wechsler, previously signed a five-year, $163 million extension with the Celtics in 2020.
