The Charlotte Hornets have signed center Harry Giles III to a training camp deal. Giles will be given an opportunity to compete for a roster spot with the Hornets during the preseason.
Giles returned to the NBA last season after a three-year absence. He started the year with the Brooklyn Nets before being waived in early February. Giles signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers a month later to finish out the season.
